More about the role

The responsibilities of the Senior Procurement Account Director include establishing and maintaining existing client relationships within the client’s growing network of airline and hotel partners with the sole purpose of generating strategic growth and delivering their contract commitments, through exceptional procurement services.

This role will have a large travel component. Travel is likely every four to six weeks or roughly 30% of time. 

This role has a high degree of autonomy, reporting to the VP of APAC region and leads a team of 3 direct reports, who manage the two accounts. 

It is a fast-paced environment requiring immediate action around the high volume of room booking and alterations and requires a very operational and hands-on element to support the team, and will be responsible for ensuring all complaints are investigated and handled according to the negotiated terms.

About You

The position of Senior Procurement Account Director will appeal to an experienced procurement category manager who enjoys understanding the multiple drivers of business, is strategic and forward thinking and can leverage their knowledge of the industry and partners involved to make connections that benefit everyone. 

You enjoy face-to-face meetings with the customer while building strong and effective account management relationships.  You will work autonomously invest time in driving employee engagement initiatives that continue to build a high performing team focused on the customer experience.

 Reporting to the VP of APAC region and leads a team of 3 direct reports, who manage the two key accounts. 

The business operates in a fast-paced environment requiring immediate action that meets the demand for volume room bookings and ground transport services. You will need to be energetic, flexible and hands-on.
