The client is a multi-disciplinary consultancy firm which provides specialist building regulatory advice to the building construction industry. They have successfully provided these services throughout Australia for the past 13 years.

The client has worked on various iconic buildings across all sectors throughout Australia.
In addition to providing Building Code consulting services, The client provides Accessibility & Inclusion Consulting and Fire Safety Engineering services to their clientele.

The successful applicant will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team, in a dynamic and diverse environment whilst ensuring ongoing individual professional development.

About You

You will need a good team attitude, be willing to help others and be committed to ensuring IT systems are updated with accurate information. You will need be a good communicator and be prepared to challenge yourself. Additionally you will need the following:

  • The ability to work as a team player, working with the wide variety of personalities and situations whilst remaining professional and outcome focused.
  • The ability to work independently and to communicate clearly with clients, management team, office team members, colleagues and consultants.
  • Marketing to new clients and existing personal contacts and conversion into new projects.
  • Management and follow through of individual client base and marketing activities, growth and development of personal industry network.
  • Technical competence commensurate with the role.
  • Ability to check documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Time taken on each project and turnaround time for delivering services.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow up targets and deadlines to achieve outcomes.
  • Demonstrate initiative in improving our processes and procedures.

Qualification Requirements

  • Successful completion of Access Institute CERT IV course/ formal qualifications studied locally or from an internationally recognised organisation.
  • Accreditation and licensing with appropriate authorities / accreditation body.
  • Minimum 5 years work experience in Access Consulting locally, nationally, or internationally.
  • Maintain minimum CPD requirements in accordance with relevant state and national accreditation bodies.
